Originally purchased from Profiles as an unused tunic from the ill-fated "Star Trek - Phase II" series, thanks to David McLaughlin, specialist in TMP costumes, it was now identified as being a prototype for the dress uniform for "Star Trek - The Motion Picture". It was designed by Robert Fletcher, who took over for the film series from William Theiss. [PiH]
